Growing up in Humboldt County, I attended the local schools and then went on to Humboldt State University and graduated with a degree in Business. I have worked with Cottage Realty for over 15 years. First as a secretary, then as a salesperson and now as the owner. I am dedicated to managing our properties with knowledge, integrity and above all else, respect to both the owners and the tenants.
As a Realtor, I have used my skills in negotiating and marketing properties to help people buy or sell their homes, while maintaining personal service for all of my clients. I am dedicated to not only helping my clients fulfill their goal of buying or selling, but in also educating about the ins and outs of real estate. I have been a Humboldt County resident for over 35 years. Twenty-five of those years have been dedicated to the real estate profession. Beginning as a sales person and then becoming a real estate broker of my own company - Cottage Realty.
**Sadly, Dawn O'Rourke lost her battle to breast cancer in April of 2010. We miss her dearly and continue to honor her spirit in the business she started and worked so hard to create. The business of Cottage Realty continues on with the same family values and ethics.
